Workshops, Experience Days & Retreats

Workshops

I'd love to persuade you to join me to discover the joy and beauty of taking some time out from your busy day and spend some time learning new techniques, maybe re-visit some old ones and simply enjoy the process of creating with cloth and thread and of course include some delightful slow stitching, maybe some texile art or journalling or a combined mixture of them all together!

If you are a beginner and want to dip your toes into the world of creativity or are an experienced avid crafter then there will be something on offer for everyone's ability.

I offer a very relaxed workshop allowing students to work at their own pace with their own interpretation of my theme or designs.

There are no rules!

I encourage all my students to find ther own path of creativity and celebrate their own individual style.

Have I tempted you?

Fancy joining me?

All of my workshops have a beautiful flavour of nostalgia, are vintage inspired and filled with gorgeous loveliness with layers of slow stitching, mixed media techniques, boho delights, embellishments

and so much more....

Have I tempted you yet?

I shall be bringing you each workshop via Zoom unless stated otherwise, where you will be able to share a cosy meet with like-minded crafters all from your own home.

I will welcome you into my studio, where we'll share a cuppa or two and chat away a few hours whilst learning new skills and techniques with some extra tips thrown in for good measure.

Each workshop will be based around an achievable project that you can then continue to create at your own pace after we have said goodbye to each other.

A little note about ZOOM Workshops...

I know for some, using Zoom may seem a little scary at first but once you have decided which workshop you would like to do, it is SO easy. All you need to do is simply click on the link to purchase your place in the workshop  and I will send you more details about joining in on the day via your email. You can use your phone, I-Pad, PC computer or device you normally check your emails on.

I send out a Resources list for each workshop unless stated otherwise beforehand or you may wish to buy a prepared accessory kit to accompany your workshop if offered.

I'm happy to help with that also...the choice is yours!

*PLEASE NOTE I don't keep a recording of any of the workshops*

I do hope you find something from the selection of workshops below that makes you smile....

If you have an queries about any of them do please feel free to drop me an email with your details to enquiriestilly-rose.co.uk

Tilly Rose Experience Days

~*~*~*~*~*~ Happy Mind, Happy Life ~*~*~*~*~*~

How do you fancy a day designed exclusively by me to allow you a little indulgent 'me time'

I am offering the chance for you to spend some time with myself and a small group at my workshop studio - 'The Habby Hut' celebrating the beautiful ordinary snippets of life...

We shall be sharing a gentle day together exploring the flora and fauna that surrounds my studio, experiencing the surrounding wild landscape of the Lincolnshire Fens, indulging in a few treats along the way and ending our day with some gentle quiet time with our resident group of lady Alpacas.

Now, a little note here folks...do let me set the record straight right from the start.....this is NOT a workshop. It is not a day for hard toil and concentration...

It is simply a beautiful gathering of like-minded people who share a love of Mother Earth, share a love for creativity, maybe wish to discover a new interest, indulge in the wonderful slowness of time, eat loads of cake and hopefully leave feeling peaceful and relaxed...

Your day will have a slight timetable as little guidance of what to expect but I can't guarantee we will stick to it all!

Each day will have a different focus so if you wish to attend more than one they will all be different.

Refreshments and Afternoon Tea are included with your booking but you will need to bring your own lunch.

To book a place simply click on the Experience Day you prefer below.

Lovely Comments...

"My dear Tilly, just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed today’s workshop. I am not that familiar with zoom but everything was perfect. A lovely group of ladies to connect with.  It was so lovely to have the inspiration kit sent in the post, excellent value for money. This was one of the few projects I have not tried in your beautiful book and one I have always admired and wanted to try. I thought the instructions you gave were excellent with a good pace that was easy to follow and being able to enlarge the screen you were demonstrating on was great" - Margaret

" I'm in love with the hexagons I'm making from yesterday. What a fab workshop!" - Sally

" Hi Tilly can’t thank you enough for yesterday’s zoom workshop! You have to be one of the best teacher ,mentors I have met . The inspiration and skills you pass on with caring and kindness are invaluable..." - Stephanie
