The inspiration for this little design was found nestling in amongst the swathes of white wildflowers bobbing about in the cornish breeze.

Sea Campions, otherwise known as White Snapjacks smother the ancient Cornish hedges in drifts of what look like white cotton lacy mop caps...

Cornish folklore refer to them as Witches' Thimbles and warn they are not to be picked which I feel derives from the fact they can often be found so very close to the cliff edges!

This is one of my smaller designs that will mix and match with other designs and make a great filler-in if you are creating patterns, swirls and repeating borders.

Measures approx 2" / 5cm in diameter.

Supplied with its own cloth bag.
