These little inspiration kits are created from my memories as a child playing with my Mum's sewing box which could be seen every Tuesday afternoon after she had done the weekly wash on a Monday.

As she lovingly repaired our family's garments in readiness for another week I would happily play with all the gems that were hidden at the bottom of her sewing box....buttons, pieces of elastic, mending threads, a little ribbon....

To me they allowed me to play creatively with all the wonderful array of colours and textures on offer.....something that you know I still adore doing!

I have put together these little kits as an introduction to using vintage haberdashery in your projects. I only like to make up small batches at a time and once they are sold I will then create a new collection which guarantees you will always receive something special and unique.
